OK, to record two seperate tracks at once the LEFT & RIGHT channel selection must be made in Options/Preferences/Audio, but unless you activate both tracks in TRACK MODE you will end up with both audio inputs (ie. guiatr and voice) being consolidated on a single track.
Click the first track you intend to record to, then hold down the CTRL key and click the second track.
On my system track 1 is active 'red' and track 2 appears active when 'yellow.'
