I experience the following problem when I load a new (Real Tracks only) song into BnB 2013 maybe 1 time out of 10 or 12 loads:

1 There is no audio, even though the music is playing -measures advance, I can see notes changing on the keyboard display

2. There is nothing wrong with my audio playback devices and they have worked with all of the prior song loads.

3. I can always fix this problem by simply clicking on Opt then Midi Audio Driver Setup, and then simply clicking on OK.

No changes are made, but tech support tells me this resets the Audio settings. This always works and also shows that the sound system is not the problem.

This is not a life threatening problem, and I can live with it, but it should not happen. Tech support has never experienced nor heard of this before. However I have had this problem for many years, on my Win XP 64bit system and never with Win XP 32 bit. The XP 64 bit is a rare bird, so I figured it was perhaps a quirk of the unusual OS, but when my brand new Win 7 64bit system did exactly the same I thought I should find out if there was a fix. I'm very certain that it only started from the time that I began to use Real Tracks almost exclusively.

I called tech support and had a nice chat and the tech checked my system and found nothing very unusual that would account for the problem. Since it takes awhile to happen it is not easy to reproduce in a very short span of time.

Since, I saw the problem with different audio hardware (Edirol FA101 Firewire, Native Inst Komplete Audio6 USB) using different software drivers, I think we can rule out audio hardware and drivers.

If you have also had the same experience please tell us and send a note to tech support too.

Thanks,

Dan
