Done a backing track for a song but I feel there is something missing(Melody?) in the choruses(verses) the 1st chourus starts at aprox 38 seconds in after the lead guitar. _COWB_GS.STY. Country Style. (165 RS) All RealTracks. Not my place to post anything really, not being a Country player and all, but it struck me that the Chorus was too long. Its got a great hook in the chords (G,D,A) that I'm sure someone could put words to but they play over too many times. I cant tell then when the "verse" is starting - didnt seem the same as the opening 38 secs.
Bounces along beautifully as a BT though and with a bit of discipline and some decisions on what starts where, this could be the makings of a good tune.

Hi Pete.
I agree with Mario - only needs a tune and lyrics.
As a backing track it's first rate. I know it's work in progress, but when you do the final mix you could maybe bring the bass up a little. Other than that, no problems.

I had a hard time figuring out where I was in the song. It needs some sort of melody to keep you on track.
In a song, it should be easy to know by listening where you are in the song. The verse and chorus sounded similar enough that I was wondering verse? or chorus?
maybe it's just me, but that;s my take
