Robert,

Re: Mom Don't Forget To Pray....

Wow, what a shame that this song is not getting more "listens". It is beautiful. Tell your mom, I said "WOW!" Incredible lyric, absolutely heart-wrenching.

The background piano is perfect. And you're reading of it is beautiful.

What a great piece. You both did a great job.

You are amazing, Robert... you write them faster than I can listen to them.

I agree, the Mom letter was very touching, and the spare piano was effective. The "dice" track proved to me that I should not avail myself of this method of writing music -- thanks for making the pioneer effort. <grin>

For some reason that reminds me of HEE HAW - that's a compliment Robert. Thanks for the smile.

Used a different mixing and mastering technique for this one. Also used 3 different drum types in this one, used bar settings real-drums and then changed to the type I wanted, Believe it or not after all this time using BIAB I did not know you could do that with the drums, LOL. Something for the wishlist is to be able to change all of the other real tracks like this, it would open up even more we could do with biab.

Thanks everyone who has taken the time to listen and feedback on the songs!

All tracks are real tracks
bass= 1717
Guitar 1=1720
Guitar 2=1718
Guitar 3=1719
Drums=Blues 1.rock 4 snare 2. Blues ev hh ride, 3. Fusion Terry clarke 6 cycling.

Robert,

CONGRATULATIONS!!! On 14 by 28!!! That is very impressive. And you had nice variety and enjoyable songs. And inventive, too! Roll the Dice, Submarine, Walk In Africa....

I hope So Long did not mean you are leaving!

But.... I have a bone to pick with you!!!!... When the opening piano on "Held in His Hand" began I KNEW there was a Gospel Choir coming... I knew it. That piano was announcing it. And then the song was PERFECT for it! And when the chorus hit I COULD HEAR THEM... but they were not there, alas... Man! I wanted them to be... a GREAT song... (even without the Choir).

Congratulations again. A real achievement.

Thanks floydjane for the comment, I will add a choir to Held In His Hand. I am not leaving just titled the song "So Long" because I felt like it was going to be my last FAWM song for this years edition. To everyone who may have missed some of them, here is a link to them all. Thanks everyone again for being so supportive and taking the time out of your day to share in mine. God bless you all!

I really like Held In His Hand. The choir is going to make it even better.

Thanks for the heads up on the bar settings changing the realdrums.
