Yeah, I have other programs here also.
When I start a project though, I lean toward RB. If I need something I can't do in RB I'll move over to another program, but using RB keeps some pretty significant options open.
PT/RB seemed pretty intuitive to me so I've used them for a long time. If you have it, try it. If you struggle with it, investigate others.
Some like a different approach (like traktion) but that one is uncomfortable for me personally.
Kind of like many of the Adobe products; to me they are a pain at first (not intuitive) but after use I see how they are designed.
Use whatever you feel comfortable with, and switch when you need to.
