I am just managing to find the time for music after 9 months due to a family illness and decided to clean up the Dxi and Vsti listing as the latter were still controlled via the Directixer Program imitating DXi Plug-ins.

There are a number of buttons in the Window to allow for the loading and saving of VSTi plug-in patches (suffix .fxp) and banks (suffix .fxb).

In operation for VSTi plug-ins, all work as expected except Load Preset which actually tries to load from the existing loaded Bank whereas any change should be managed from the Drop Down List only. Save Preset opens a folder into which you can save a specific patch and I have used this facility in the past to save developed patches with the name of the Song in which it was used.

It is pointless to be able to save patches which have taken sometime to model and then find that there is no way in which they can be reloaded for further use. Of course you can add the Preset to the existing loaded Bank, but this is a messy method of keeping track .

In my view the "Load Prefix" should open up as a Windows Folder in an identical manner to the "Save Preset", otherwise the latter function is pointless. Maybe I have missed something???
