I just asked PG Music Support, in the person of Rachael (nice young lady) about selling some privately owned gear on this forum. The basic answer, quoting the rules, was no advertising, no commercial sales, etc. Okay, this wasn't a commercial sale, advertising, etc., but I can live by the rules.
So, other than ebay, CraigsList, or such, where would YOU list something like high end A/D and D/A converters?
Curious as if anyone here has sold gear that isn't being used any more, and where and how you sold it.

eBay - I've sold lots of guitar stomp boxes (and some fairly high end and rare ones too) never had issues selling but I had strict buyer criteria like: at least 5 prior purchases; no negatives as buyer; no change of user name or email in last year, etc. and NO PERSONAL CHECKS - period. I dont; sip until paid and I only ship to PAYPAL/billing address
I also bought/sold slide rules and a few guitar amps.
but I have not bought or sold anything there in a last two'ish years or so.
I don't do "craigs list" - but that's me.

I think you should have just gone ahead and posted what you had for sale, I have seen it often enough on the off topic forum where people have sold numerous items.
I think you as a long standing forum member should have the privilege of doing that and that as everyone knows you, they won't be ripped off.
Sometimes just going ahead and doing it is the best way, worst would have been that your post would have been pulled, and I think thats highly unlikely.

My original intent was to offer them first to the people here who I know would appreciate the gear, instead of someone else that I didn't know.
I'll probably post them on fleabay or check out KVR.
