I like the longer titles. I'm not paying by the word for forum titles and I can scan a long one about as quickly as a short one and this way I can get a better preview before I click. (so there!)

I actually prefer a too-wordy post title to the alternative, things like "Look at this!!!" where the post contains only a link. No explanation of what it is about can be found. I refuse to click on such links. At least here, I know what I'm getting into.
