The Andy shows with the Darlings (Dillards) are classics and many of them are on YT.
Search "Darlings, Andy Griffith show. There are about 30 hits (several repeats), all wonderful. Denver Pyle mastered the character Briscoe Darling.

Has the ability to post items with short descriptive titles been lost here at BIAB -- or is it a phenomena which is becoming more prevalent everywhere? What happen to being concise? I like seeing titles that are short, sweet and right to the point. I can click on it to see more!

Perhaps we should start responding to posts using the title too. In that way no one has to bother to glance at the box below the title. We may have a (partial) solution to internet eye strain!

Marley was dead, to begin with. There is no doubt whatever about that. The register of his burial was signed by the clergyman, the clerk, the undertaker, and the chief mourner. Scrooge signed it. And Scrooge's name was good upon 'Change for anything he chose to put his hand to. Old Marley was as dead as a door-nail. Scrooge knew he was dead? Of course he did. How could it be otherwise? Scrooge and he were partners for I don't know how many years. Scrooge was his sole executor, his sole administrator, his sole assign, his sole residuary legatee, his sole friend, his sole mourner. Scrooge never painted out old Marley's name, however. There it yet stood, years afterwards, above the warehouse door, -- Scrooge and Marley. The firm was known as Scrooge and Marley. Sometimes people new to the business called Scrooge Scrooge, and sometimes Marley. He answered to both names. It was all the same to him.

It's not that easy being green Having to spend each day the color of the leaves When I think it could be nicer being red, or yellow, or gold Or something much more colorful like that When green is all there is to be It could make you wonder why But why wonder why wonder I am green, and it'll do fine It's beautiful, and I think it's what I want to be
