Hi,
I play a digital piano (Yamaha CGP1000) and have connected a laptop as an external audio device to the built in loudspeakers. I had to boost the BiaB sound output to 120% and the result is satisfying. Now I also tried the USB to device connection, installed the Yamaha driver and established the midi connexion. It seems to work because I see on the Biab virtual Piano keyboard the notes that I play on the Yamaha and I even recorded a test sequence. But I cannot hear BiaB with this USB connnection nor can I hear the VST plugins... has anybody experience with this kind of connexion? Should I connect both cables (USB to Device + audio cables at the same time) to my Yamaha? I would appreciate any help on this topic: Rarebear in France.
