Dear All,

Sorry to raise a hoary old issue again. I've read John Ford's excellent pdf on installing Sample Tank properly.

I'm using a fast Dell, with Windows 7.

Several times I've uninstalled ST, and re-installed it using the "Run as Administrator" command as John advises, but every time I try to use it, I continue to get the message "Sample Tank is not running with Administrative privileges... AP's are required to save sounds and preferences....".

Not being able to save ST settings is a real pain!

Uninstalling & reinstalling ST doesn't seem to delete whatever it is that's telling my machine I'm not the Administrator.

I'm guessing this may require a Windows Registry edit? (And, if so, I'd need someone to guide me through that process.)

If it's not a registry thing, what do I need to do for ST to accept me as the Administrator ?

Grateful for advice. Many Thanks - Best to All - Andy
