Hi, everyone ! I am new to this site and thus maybe not too well equipped for posting any link to one of my soundfiles, but I thought it would not hurt anyone if I tried ?:) This link is to a song I wrote and recorded together with some buddies of mine back in 1992. It is a song about my dear wife Beni who bravely fought an incurable cancer for over four years but that subdued her in the end ! She passed away in 2011 ! I had the privilege to get to marry my first love and we were given almost 42 wonderful years together. I look forward to meet her in the afterlife,though, and that is why I will stay true to her for the rest of my life ! She ment everything to me and it took me over a year just to be able to pick up my guitar again ! This tune was performed during lighter times before she got ill. but the strings are played by the
artistic leader of the BBC - Orchestra,
I just cannot recall his name any more
Forgive an old fool for that !:)
If you refer to the vocal harmonies, they
were more or less improvised in the studio !:)
