To get a song in sync tempo-wise, you do the following:

1. Click on bar 1 by clicking the set to bar one button.
2. When the time line is on any other bar, click on that bar, by pressing the bar line button, or F5 key.

For example, after setting bar 1, then click a bar line on bar 2. That will instantly adjust the tempos of all bars. If you want to get a perfect tempo map, you would play the whole song, and hit f5 on every bar line. But usually the tempo is solid in a song and you only need to hit the F5 key a few times,
