I use both. I have to in order to check display of websites I work on..
They are different. Often if IE reports a problem with flash or javascript it is because there IS an error... Firefox is more forgiving.
However they DO display certain things differently. I like Firefox, and it is worth checking out, for sure. You may have to install certain 'add ons' to Firefox to get the same performance you expect from IE, especially things like displaying 'alt' tags and such. Check it out, you may end up preferring it! I like how easy it is to delete cookies and stuff in Firefox. Very efficient.
