Browsers are only 1 component of safe traveling online. Other lurking dangers reside on your travels regardless of browser. For instance, do you have Java running or disabled? Adobe FlashPlayer....are you running the latest patched version 10,0,22,87?

Glenn. Don't get rid of IE. Just don't use it or use it as Matt and I do...to access Windows Update. With a properly updated computer IE is no less safe. Conflicker is a good example of people getting overly excited for no good reason. The patch for that came out last year!

The single most critical component to safe computing is not the software...it's the hardware component sitting there with the loaded mouse!
