Hi Peter

That works--I had the speed set too fast before and the Bass line seemed much too complex

I have slowed the song down and removed the organ track and we are ready to go

However that brings up a very interesting question about how BinaB works

I only use Real Tracks and have my options set to automatically change a real track if its a better match for the speed of the song BUT I thought that if you locked in a certain Real Track i.e. stopped it automatically changing to a different speed match, then it plays the same notes based on the chords no matter what you did with the speed--obviously that's dam clever as it stays in pitch

BUT, I'm pretty sure that is not what has happened here--it seems to me that as I slowed the song down the bass player actually played a lot simpler set of notes and not just the "same notes but slower"--I checked and it hadn't changed the Bass Real Track

I know the programme changes what the Bass player plays each time you hit the GenPlay button but I had assumed it was still pretty much as complex each time based upon the speed of the song

Am I right--if so then I cant see how you can do that unless there are loads of variations to each Real Track you produce ?????
