Hi Marty, You could use the PG Music Dynamics plug-in. This is what I do when volumes need adjusting. I've put together a short "How To" on it at the link below. ... using PG Dynamics pluginThis plugin is an excellent compressor and expander. In the situation you mention, you could try the expander (which is essentially the inverse of the compressor) although, I'd be tempted to use the compressor and boost the output gain. Hope this helps. Noel P.S. My "How To" doesn't talk about the expander function but if you click on "Help" and look for "Audio Plug-ins" in the index, you'll be taken to some information on how to use it.
