Hi Stan. I agree with everything in your post (except I know nothing about Mixcraft). Just FYI, SONAR has patched X2. The newest version, X2a, is more stable that X1 in my opinion. If you like using SONAR, I believe you may safely upgrade.

You may be referring to the Scott Garrigus books, which are always excellent. I agree with you, though, that SONAR is not for the faint of heart. This is pro software that you must use regularly to master (not that I would claim to have mastered it).
