Wow, that's unfortunate if it is true. Some folks are that way. It seems like it would have been a great opportunity for any musician. It is such a useful tool and useful contribution to the creative process of so many. PG and PG music seems like a truly stand-up person and company.I doubt that integrity goes missing when dealing with musicians.

OF course the 'creation' of the real tracks would have been alot of work for some instruments. Some of it very tedious work. If you listen to the raw tracks you can get a clear picture of much of the process. Different for different instruments but the patterns are present. Repetitive triads, simple chords, simple strumming, simple phrases, looping phrases and progressions etc. For the piano it is really deep and wide.

Personally I am grateful for the program and for Paul's contribution, even if he didn't enjoy it!
