I see. You run BIAB from the USB drive it came on. You shouldn't be getting any problems if that's the case.

Did you run the setup program on the USB drive when BIAB first arrived? This setup program offers 4 different types of installation. I'm not sure what number the option is but that one that allows a user to run BIAB from the USB drive is called something like "minimal installation, all files on an external drive". If this setup program wasn't run, I know that that can result in problems.

In relation to not being able to stop a file from playing, it sounds like you might have rendered the file to a wav file. If this is the case, the wav file will play even though all the other sounds are turned off. To get rid of the wav file, go to "Audio" on the top menu and then select "Edit Audio" and then "Kill Entire Audio".
