Also, If you play a YouTube video, do you get sound? Do you have 2 possible audio sources on your PC? (like a regular audio out, and another one for a USB soundcard or something?


The former possibility seems to be the case. I get sound from CDs, Netflix and YouTube and the BIAB RealTracks DO seem to be generating but they can't be heard.

I really don't know if I have 2 audio sources, will get back to you on that. (If I can find out!) Strangely, I just downloaded a video editing program and although the video works in it no AUDIO can be heard in it! I wrote to the forum there about the problem just before coming back here. I just checked out the "Sounds and Audio Devices" in "My Computer" and everything seems to be fine.
