Thanks Noel.

I was going to do that before but I read that I had the latest version of WMP for XP (32-bit). I think version 11 was for XP 64-bit. I figured maybe mine was corrupt but the thing was that I couldn't seem to get the version I had downloaded and installed again for some reason or another. So, what the heck, I just downloaded and installed v11 for the heck of it. Unfortunately, for me, it's another no go with BIAB. The RealTracks, individually, can be heard with VLC as default player but STILL not with WMP and with BIAB playing the Realtracks aren't being played with either of them as default player.

P.S. Just now, again for the heck of it, I deleted WMP v11 and it rolled back to v.9. When I tried to play a track I got the dreaded "Class Not Registered" error. OK, so I installed v.10!! No go either. Clicking on a RealTrack I got an "Unknown Error" (C00D11CD). None of them work with RealTracks/BIAB but they do with other audio files!!

I'll be back to tell the rest of the story after I have my kid try to delete then install the quarts.dll (not that it's the problem but it's something that I've seen and can't do myself.). I'll call tech support before the kid comes by though to hear what they say. Anyhow, I'm done fiddling with this. I'll probably just have to re-install XP soon as I'm REALLY starting to want to make some music with BIAB.
