I'm not sure if the North Americans would know of The Seekers, but I'm sure the Brits would.
Last Wednesday they had the first performance of their 50th Anniversary tour of Australia (all 4 original members). Sadly, at the end of the show, the beautiful Judith Durham felt unwell, and was taken to hospital, where she was diagnosed with a suspected brain haemorrhage, Consequently, the rest of the tour has been postponed.
I've seen The Seekers in concert, they are great, and as a matter of fact, we have tickets for their show this coming Saturday night. I'm hoping that the show may be rescheduled, and not cancelled.
Let's hope that Judith recovers, and we can hear her angelic voice once more.
