Yes, it will work without those folders but you won't save much space by doing so. The Drag 'n Drop should normally be empty, unless you are using a DAW that does not delete those files as temporary, in which case you should clean it out yourself periodically.

Most of the 101 Riffs folders are not worth the effort, as they contain loads of .MGU files, but those are all tiny (except for the Solo and Trio Intros, which contain .WMA files).

The biggest saving of space by far will be to delete the RealTrack folders you will not use on your gig machine. For example, if you can delete all the Country, or all the Jazz Soloists; that sort of deletion. This is even more important if you have the audiophile version, or you uncompressed the RealTracks.
