GREAT insights Tony. Funny that we just got home from a jazz gig at a new upscale club in Boise and I heard twin L1s for the first time including a multi-mic'd Yamaha baby grand and the sound was just AWESOME.

Just some added comments to my earlier post concerning the bass being to loud on my existing BIAB tracks through the Bose L1.
I did bring an L1 home, and have been experimenting with playing BIAB through the Bose L1 as the monitor. Yes, I did have to lower the volume of the bass. But the other thing I found was that the bass sounded a bit "muddy & boomy". I'd been using the new Sample Tank 61' electric bass. When I switched back to the Coyote Forte finger bass, the definition of the sound was much better. Also, Real Track basses sounded fine through the Bose once the volume was reduced.
So I better get busy re-recording tracks before the next gig.

Joden, you mentioned a "PG EQ Plugin". I am not familiar with that item. Can you or someone else give me some more info?
