Your Song

Life gives us a Song in our heart when we’re are Born,
As we go down the road, with happiness and Storms,
The Song that we were given can be heard very Warm,
With proper love and nourishing this Song can be Reborn.

When we are teens the Song runs an emotional Rampage,
We know not where we are or when we’ll come of Age,
The ones that help write this Song cannot feel our Rage,
The ones that love us cannot hear our songs Passage.

In Our twenties the Song has taken a shape, we not Aware,
Continue down the road, loving, caring, the melody Fair,
The Song now has a Full verse, a few sorrows to Share,
Nearing the end of this short time the song is still softly There.

In Our Thirties and Forties the Song is there but very Faint,
Our hustle and bustle of relationships, heartbreaks Disappoint,
Contributing another Verse or Two to the Songs Restraint,
All of a sudden we become aware of the Songs Constraint.

In Our Fifties with a little Luck we can hear the Song Better,
A good part of life’s happiness, sorrows behind, it does Bolster,
As we age the Song we thought was silent is becoming Louder,
We’re almost aware that the Song is what really does Matter.

We’re in our Sixties, for some they reached the end of Their Song,
For those us, blessed with continuing music Our Song will Prolong,
The Song now has several verses, and a chorus playing right Along,
We can now hear many Song’s of Others, in our Hearts They Belong.

In Our Seventies and beyond this Song can be so Sweet,
In Our Eighties and beyond this Song can be so Fleet,
Irregardless of the Verses and Choruses of YOUR Song,
You were the Primary Composer for this Beautiful Song.
