I've brought as many as 16 tracks into BIAB with no problem using the open midi file command from the File menu. The file may come in via multi tracks. If that's the case, the leadsheet shows all the tracks on the same page. Yeah, that's useless. also remember that there's a distinction between a type 0 and type 1 midi file. After everything is squared away (per Mac's explanation), there should only be one track playing melody. If you want other instruments to play the melody in a different part of the song. You will have to make those changes via bar changes. If I open a midi file with multiple tracks, I usually do it in a DAW. Real Band will work for that better than BIAB, IMO.
