Few days ago, last of my four desktops running XP was cripped by the "free" Win 8 "incognito-", and I as soon over at Walmirage to get a new smallform Gateway with Win 8, 4gigRam and 500 G Hard Drive.

A real love-hate trying to learn the new "sliding" window..
I've added lots of addition apps...fought with my feeble 80-year-old mind which is challenged by MS leadingme down a meriad of maze-like patchs...

but....but....I do appreciate the above links and will grab a couple of them...no sense bearing up to this water-torcher without a shot of booze...or any easier way to meet the challenges of a new and frustrating widows "horizon".

Maybe it would be easier with a "touch" pad...

but maybe it's just too cool of a tool for this "musical journalist"...I keep expecting the AG and his goons to show up with his jp goons or irs to breakinto my RV...

Now do appear before a hearing in DC and invoke "The Fifth" again...or just buy a 5th!? Are we having fun with Win 8...
