If you are hearing the system sound piano on that track, then PianoTeq is not properly getting the MIDI data and generating the sound to the Audio Driver, instead the MIDI data seems to be going to the basic system synth and then out.

Your explanation seems to say MIDI is going to the basic synth and then out the audio output, instead of going to the PianoTeq synth and then out. Different problem than initially described.

Again, how are you implementing the PianoTeq synth?

I finally get it to work. The problem is that PowerTrack does not recognize the Pianoteq as plug in for 64 bit version. That is why I was unable to load the piano as VSTi. Once I load the 32 bit version of the PianoTeq, then I see the plug in as well as the driver appearing on my Midi output. It is too bad that Power Track is unable to accomodate the 64 plug in. DP
