Thanks for the reply.
I was opening the leadsheet window, setting it to show TAB, then printing to PDF. It seems that it won't actually show TAB on the print preview or on the actual PDF UNTIL AFTER it has been viewed and printed using your method (or using the notation option).
Once it's been done there, it works correctly from the leadsheet. I have tried it on 2 different installs of realband and both do exactly the same. Maybe it's a feature, as our friends at MS would say.
