All I can think of, and my knowledge is limited in the technie end of things is go to Piano Roll view, where you can see the midi details, and see if there is stuff on the drum track turning it off or down. Is it the same song that did not work in Cakewalk also?
I don't know. Some one will answer soon with more information. They will probably want more information on your system and settings to narrow down the problem.
