Sure there is,
What softsynth are you using, and is it being used as the 'default' synth (meaning is reroute all MIDI to DXI synth checked)?
Workaround:
uncheck the reroute all midi to DXI synth box.
Go to a MIDI track and right-click
select 'port' and make it port number 17
assign the desired softsynth to port 17
right-click the track again and select 'assign all MIDI tracks to port 17'
In MIDI devices select MS wavetable synth as the default device
voila - you have all MIDI tracks using the synth you want and the metronome can use the MS wavetable synth to do the count in.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome
