If you like this new Americana style, there are loads of similar bands on Noisetrade.com where you decide how much you want to pay for the music, from zero to whatever you decide.

I found out about the Lumineers on Noisetrade about a year ago. I think they 'blew up' about 3-6 months ago.

It's simple to find the bands that sound like this, as new acts that put their material up there do a 'sounds like' submission.

Simply search for either "Lumineers" or "Mumford" and you'll be treated to a bunch of junk, some okay and some real gems.

Another one that has been placing lots of content on Noisetrade, but with female lead vox is The Vespers. They release on Noisetrade, then after a few months where they've built their buzz, they pull their stuff down.

Josh Garrels is another favorite - he releases on Noisetrade and bandcamp, then after building buzz (sometimes for a very long time, he will pull his stuff off of there).

The Followers are another one that you will likely enjoy, if you like the Lumineers. More of a 60's rock/americana vibe - not unlike CSNY-era stuff. A member of indie rock darling Blitzen Trapper" is in the Followers.

Check Out "Green River Ordinance" as well on Noisetrade.

Noisetrade's integration with Facebook and Twitter is offering an entirely different way to market and build a fan base for these folks.
