This is beautiful. I think you captured some unintentional magic with this vocal. It strikes an emotional chord - funny how that happens sometimes especially when you're writing it for someone else to sing and there's less pressure to perform.
Alot of the tv/film stuff today has a bit of rawness to it. I believe other women besides myself will also respond to the vulnerable lyrics sung (as they are) by a male. Just something to think about. Good luck with it.

I generally write for myself as a singer, but lately I have been doing a great deal of producing again and have been interested in expanding my writing to suit others. If I keep the tune for myself, I will likely change the key to suit my voice more strongly. Have a great weekend!
