The only support for Colorado is to send donations. Imploring a mythical figure for intervention supports is a waste of time.

IMO....
Although 'prayer' has no efficacy or relevance in my life I've read the replies and I find all responses to be genuinely sincere.
The subject line was clearly stated.
My take on it...respond to the subject or ignore the thread.
While I'm here...
I've just read up on it and it's still hell in Colorado.
I'm hoping all get evacuated safely as I sit here typing in my comfortable room.
I feel terrible for all those that are affected.

Praying does give a person the good feeling he's done something about a problem without actually doing anything.

I noticed the same issue that was pointed out by 90db. In my personal opinion it is a shame upon us as individuals and therefore as a society that just the mention of "prayer" can be such a "Hell raising" topic.
Too bad.....

If God allowed the fires, what good will it do to ask Him to stop them? I don't know, but what if he was just trying to see if "you" were paying attention as maybe this was his last reach-out to you? Rhetorical, no need for an answer. Later,
