While I'm (maybe I should now say, was) a big Nero fan for many years, I was extremely unhappy when I upgraded (not free) to Nero 9. It took forever to load and in the process wrote about a hundred or more restore points in the O/S (each restore point uses disk space). Then, I found several features actually had less functionality than the previous version. So I uninstalled and went back to version 8 (on one computer) and version 7 (on another computer). If you read the forums, you'll find a lot of other people had similar problems. They may have fixed it by now, but I haven't had time to check. If you can find it, my recommendation would be to install version 8 or earlier.
I've been happy with both version 8 and version 7.

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
