This is partly to bump this up to see if I can get an answer.

Also I've been playing at detail with creating user styles with Midi and just creating bass styles for the purpose of creating sight reading etudes.

And I thought of some Macros that could be added to the existing ones.

•Idea 1 - macro to play a lower open string
•Idea 2 - macro to play a higher open string

These macros would help play specific pitches - there are many bass lines that use open strings (E, A, D or G) even in keys where they don't 'work' - e.g. Ab, Db,and so on.

These macros would help create more realistic jazz bass styles. Plus they would help with my Motown sight reading styles!
