I bounced around and tried to find out where he talked about the lumineers -- but then I ended up just listening to his interview. I liked his concept of mixing and recording as you go! Why take 10 takes of vocals and then mix and match the "best parts", when you can just record one (or two) good takes!

I really should watch more of those pensado videos.
