I know that editing styles can be intimidating, but its actually very empowering once you get a handle on it. Creating a custom style with only hi-hat hits would take no time at all.


If you just needed them as an intro (such as in "Aint too proud to beg") easier than creating a style would be to enter the hi-hat hits manually in piano roll.

And in Real Band there is a drum grid editor similar to the the grid in FLStudio, which is a quick and easy way to enter custom percussion parts. Another solution might be to use that grid in RB to create the drum part, then export it as either audio or midi, and then import it to BIAB as one of the customizable tracks.
