H Nesrally,
Do you have the Window's mixer set up to record input from a mic? Right-click on the speaker in the task bar and have a look at the recording setup.
Also, what I suggest is that before using ASIO, you switch the driver back to MME. Then, using the MME see if you can get recording to work. When all is going well, switch it to ASIO. Using MME as a starting place will elimate one of the variables that can potentially create issues. It will also help narrow down the problem.
