Thanks for all the great comments guys - we kinda like us too wink

The vision you saw was shot at a concert we set up ourselves at Dural Country Club. We hired the premises and sold tickets - had around 250 to 300 guests. It was as much an exercise for one of our singers' mum to practice her marketing and promotion skills as anything.

We made a profit on the night but not really very much. We used to have a regular gig in a local pub (Jack's Bar and Grill) but they went under (still haven't figured out how a pub can go broke in Australia ????). We used to get a proportion of the bar takings which was usually enought to cover our costs.

We're performing again in August and again we're hiring the premises and selling tickets, but this time the proceeds will be going to a cancer research charity. Unfortunately I won't be able to be there as I have a prior commitment to play in the orchestra for a local amateur performance of "Hairspray". Gonna be fun but I'm disappointed at missing the band gig.

We're currently looking for another regular gig similar to the Jack's one. We'd love it if we had enough work to feed ourselves, but in the meantime the more we play out the better we get and a regular gig that covered costs would be very welcome.
