It works for me. I used a value of -64dB and the sound of the hold disappeared.

I haven't played around with these settings before. Tonight was the first time. What I did, in addition to what I outlined in the above post, was to select the Realtrack I wanted before clicking on the "More" button - see below image. (I've modified my original post to include this.)



Also, the Realtracks was on the "Guitar" track at the time. As far as I understand things, these RT settings are accessed via the Soloist dialogue but apply to Realtracks in general and not just those sitting on the Soloist track.

P.S. It's also necessary to unfreeze and regenerate the tracks for any changes to take affect.
