I have put this first request on before, but it has been awhile. I think either one of these functions would improve biab tremendously, 1. Pick your own realtrack pattern, or 2. freeze and regenerate bar by bar would put biab over the top in ease and would drop the time needed to create tremendously. It would be just like highlighting the part you want regenerated in realband. As much as Band in a Box has improved from its beginning, and it is amazing; to me where it still lacks dreadfully is the players still at times want to go off on their own tangent, which sometimes may only be once, and on an extreme rare occasion may mean none, which is great, other times which is more normal, it is like you have a disgruntled player who wants to exit the band, lol. It would make it easy if you could freeze each individual bar and then only regenerate the ones needed or if there was a pull down menu on each instrument that contained all of the different 1 beat, 2 beat, etc files so you could then choose the one for the song to fit the chords entered. You could still generate the entire song and then just replace the files needed. To me the pick your own pattern would be the simplest as it would mean the player only plays what you call for and you would not have to keep hitting regenerate until he comes back in the flow.

It would also be great if you could slide individual tracks bar by bar, as sometimes the bass might fit well at -2 but at another section might need to go to +2 this would also make it possible to fit the lead instruments in the way they would really play against the vocal.

If The "insert bars" tab was added to right click.

Also something that would be great is if the bar settings and chord settings were together in one drop down menu for each individual instrument, so you could do rest and holds, shots and pushes for each individual instrument and not have to do them as a group or choose from several, I know you can fade an increase volume, it would be nice if you could have the other features contained in that same menu.

On the piano roll; left click once to enter notes, double left click to erase notes, instead of having to hold down ctrl and shift to get the pencil up.

Also on the piano roll right click to bring down a "change note value" and "snap to" lengths, to make changing note values quicker.

As always thanks to all of the men and women at Pg Music for such an amazing and outstanding product, I know you guys are always trying to improve the product, I use it a lot as I know most of the people here do, these are just some things that I have noticed that weigh you down when creating a backing track, {above all things the most time consuming is what I call the disgruntled player or DP for short}! Thanks you!
