I strongly suspect that the BB Team are hard at work working on and coding the 64 bit version.
I really do hope so. I find working with my VST & VSTi in BB very frustrating. As for Real Band I just don't bother. It is so buggy at 32 bit, it just isn't worth the hassle.
I too would appreciate a more coherent manual that is designed to FIND what I'm looking for. I tried to get into the 'nitty gritty' of creating good 'finger picking' styles, actually spent a week trying to create exactly the John Denver acoustic finger pattern for 'We Don't Live Here No More', kudos to Bill Danoff. I gave up in the end and just played it anyway. I'm sure it's possible to create the style and have it play as the original ...... but the time it takes to create a style and style patterns that work correctly in BB just doesn't happen for me at least, even after reading and re-reading the existing manual.
As for the interface .... Some love it, (probably the die-hards and floppy disk original crew), .... some hate it. I'm sure an option to select colour schemes is available but the interface is rather out of date after so many years. My vote would have to go with those that want a new and refreshing interface.
I do wish the 'team' here would make public there intentions regarding 64 bit Band In A Box. It isn't impatience on the part of us purchasers and followers of this amazing software is it? Surely it is just polite to give us an indication of what to look forward to.
Mal.
