There is a specific Audiophile version that has wave files and not the WMA files. If your version is the WMA version as most are, it will render files as waves for exporting but the waves were created from the WMA file to start with. They sound good but are not the audiophile quality.
I create my music in BB with the complete 2013 version.... while it is the top of the line version that Band IN A Box sells, it is not the Audiophile version. However, I use Real Band to render the tracks as waves and they sound fine.
