I recently had to arrange a song from a guitar track that was given to me in 85 bpm with many pushes and custom syncopations. I have not had great successes with the "chord settings" features in biab for pushes. However when I imported the guitar track into biab at double time and was able to put the chords now at 170 bpm, (using a biab style made for 170 bpm like alt1) on the 4 beat (eg)instead of using the "pushes" features, I got a much better result at least on the midi version. Now I took it one step further, since sometimes there are styles in 85 bpm that are not found in 170 bpm. So I took my song with the style and made a midi file. Then, I imported the style to Sonar and doubled the length of the midi file (so , in Sonar my song now plays at 170 bpm). Then, I used the stylemaker to make a new style at 170bpm by importing the new midi file. I got a decent result. But wouldn't it be cool if PG music made double tempo versions of the same style. try it yourself.
