I have not had this problem but using a computer for a live show running a DAW or BB software is a risky thing IMHO.

I know of several "bands" I have seen who did run live in that manner. However, I would seriously opt for the waves in a folder since the computer is less likely to choke while processing a single wave than it is trying to run a DAW or BB.

Loading some of the RT songs on the laptop takes a bit of time..... 10 seconds or so.... whereas the wave is ready to rock instantly in the music player of choice.

A buddy uses his lappy for live gigs and has hundreds of songs in it. He uses the standard default music player and has things arranged in an orderly manner in folders so he can find songs that the audience requests.
