Although I can't seem to get it to play ... I get error messages from Windows Media Player, and other software won't work either. Any one else have this problem? What exactly are the error messages, and what steps do you take to reproduce. What other software doesn't work? What file(s) are you using, etc? This information may assist to provide answers. I double click on the file in Windows Explorer, which launches Windows Media Player, which gives the message, "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file." The other programs, which just crash, are GOM Player and VLC Media Player. All three have always been able to play WMV files for me. Can you play this file?
