Hallo zusammen, bin neu in dem Forum und auch neuer BIAB-User. Bin seit Wochen dabei meine Midi-Einstellungen auszutesten und bekomme es nicht hin, mein Keyboard (KORG ePiano) über M-Audio Box an den PC zu connecten ohne eine Latenz. Mein Klavier hackt endlos hinterher... Kann mir jemand helfen?
Ich habe BIAB 2013 (Win) auf folgender Systemumgebung installiert:
PC: Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) - Service Pack 1; AMD Quad-Core Prozessor mit 8 GB RAM
Keyboard: Nutze ein KORG e-Piano über M-Audio FastTrack Pro am PC
BiaB: Midi Einstellungen:
Midi Input: Fast Track Pro Midi In
Midi Output: Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth
Audio Einstellungen: ASIO-Treiber "ASIO4ALL v2" (das war ein Tip im User Forum hier)
Würde mich freuen wenn mir jemand einen guten Tip gibt. Danke und Gruß

Hi Jet,
OHNE eine Latenz wirst Du es wohl nicht hinbekommen. Aber sie müßte minimal sein, so dass Du sie eigentlich nicht hören dürftest. "M-Audio FastTrack Pro" ist ja eine USB- Soundkarte, ich wundere ich mich hier aber, dass Du hier den GS Wavetable Synth als Midi- Ausgang nimmst.
Du müsstest hier auf jeden Fall auch den Midi- Ausgang des "M-Audio FastTrack Pro" nehmen.
Dann aber auf jeden Fall einen Haken bei "DX/VSTi Synth verwenden" incl. "sende Midi Thru..." machen.
Dann brauchst Du noch eine Soundquelle. Hier kannst Du nehmen was Dir BiaB bietet ("Coyote","Sampletank") oder was Du sonst hast (ich nehm z.B. schon seit Urzeiten "Bandstand" und hier und da mal "Halion Sonic").
Kleiner Nachtrag: streng genommen ist es eigentlich egal, ob Du jetzt den GS Wavetable Synth als Midi- Ausgang nimmst, WENN Du o.g. Haken bei "DX/VSTi Synth verwenden" machst. Weil hier wird der reine Midi- Ausgang übersprungen- ich würde ihn aber reinmachen. Wenn Du den Haken nicht reinmachst, kannst Du halt keine externen Instrumente ansteuern, musst dann die interne "Midi- Sounds" nehmen, die i.d.R. viel schlechter klingen und meist eine viel schlechtere Latenz haben.
Wenn Du das alles gemacht hast, und immer noch eine Latenz hast, musst Du in Deiner Audio- Karte schauen, ob alles richtig eingestellt ist. a) Hast Du den korrekten Asio- Treiber ausgewählt ?
b) wenn ja, ist er auch richtig eingestellt ?
Puh... also gut, wir sind dran.... den Asio- Treiber findest Du bei BiaB unter
--> Optionen --> Voreinstellungen --> Midi Treiber --> Audio Einstellungen --> Treiber (hier den Treiber Deiner Soundkarte auswählen, der ist normalerweise der beste) --> Asio Treiber's Control Panel --> jetzt die korrekte Latenz auswählen (manchmal ist es sinnvoll, die Latenz umzustellen, bei BiaB muss man das meistens nicht).
Noch'n Nachtrag: der "ASIO4ALL"- Treiber zu nehmen ist sicher gut, aber nur dann, wenn Du keinen eigenen guten hast. Wenn Dir Deine Soundkarte keinen bietet, klar, nimmst Du den, ansonsten immer den Deiner Soundkarte. Die Hersteller der Soundkarten bieten übrigens immer wieder mal Updates für ihre Geräte.
Wahrscheinlich weißt Du das meiste hiervon selber.... aber ich war grad im Schreibwahn....

Noch ein Nachtrag: Gehe in die
Einstellungen vom Asio4All Treiber.
Grundeinstellung ist 512 Samples.
Erhöhe den Wert-es gibt auf der Festplatte
im Asio4All Ordner eine deutsche PDF Datei.
