Hmm, I'll try that... I mean, I know how to edit midi notes and cut and paste in a DAW (used Sonar years ago, and these days I dabble with Reaper)... but I guess I'm looking for more of a "miracle melody solution" which I guess can't be found with the Melodist.

It's a shame that you can't create one of your own custom melody MIDI tracks, and save it as a Melodist "style", and then it intelligently randomizes the phrasing/notes to fit my new chord progression, tempo... changes... etc. You know? Like a generic rhythm, but can make some interesting pitches and such...

I'm still so lost with the program.
